Was hoping to get some feedback as to whether or not this class was balanced?
Character Type: Swashbuckler
Swashbuckler: Pirates can be in space as well!
Starting Ability: Choose 1
- Master of Melee: Melee weapons go up to D8
- It’s all in the Wrist: You can use your Dex stat for melee attacks instead.
- Weapon Block: You can add your Dex Stat to defense against melee attacks as long as you have a melee weapon in hand.
Starting Loot (Choose 1)
- Powered Pack: Customize any 1 Melee weapon with a plasma edge, this weapon gains +2 effort bonus. This power pack cannot be removed.
- Grapple Hook: Any test to cross over a chasm is made as Easy.
- Mag Boots: You can walk on any metal surface at any orientation.
Milestone Abilities (Choose 1)
- Every Stronger: Add 1 to any stat
- Brute Force: On an attack roll of modified 15+, do your maximum effort.
- Follow Through: If you kill a target with an attack, make another attack against any close foe.
- I’ve got this: Once per round, you can block an attack against a close ally.
- Thief: If undetected, roll Dex to steal 1 item from a non player character unnoticed.
- Psyche: When in one on one combat, roll opposed CHA to make your foe run away.
Mastery:
- Master of Melee: Melee weapons go up to Ultimate
- It’s all in the Wrist: Double your Dex Stat for melee attacks.
- Weapon Block: You can add your Dex stat to defense for all attacks as long as you have a melee weapon in hand.
