I saw online that someone made a supplement for ICRPG for Star Wars which was posted on the old forum. I didn’t know if anyone on here had a copy of that supplement still they could share on here or if it’s been lost.
Wasn‘t there a document that included different classes?
Anyone running a ICRPG Star Wars game recently? How do you handle the free form force use?
I‘m excited to give this a try.
Hey there! I’ve been running ICRPG Star Wars for a group of high school kids for about 18 months. I have the Jedi and other Force users roll a Wisdom roll to see if they succeed. I went through some of the old d20 WotC Star Wars books and picked a few powers that seemed appropriate, then “ICRPG’d” them. Some of them just require a check vs. the Target Number and some require an attempt.
Let me know if you’d like to see my Star Wars write up for ICRPG
Great! I’m also thinking about making a homebrew rulebook for a Star Wars ICRPG. I think it would be helpful to many people if you posted it on the forums. Thanks!
I’m finally posting a link to my Star Wars ICRPG document! You will see references to “class” in the opening and closing paragraphs. It’s referencing that I’m doing this during a class period with high school students.
This document is a combination of some ideas from the Star Wars Rewrite, WotC’s Revised Star Wars RPG and Saga edition, and some original stuff from me.
I hope it’s helpful! Let me know if you have any questions or comments!
What a job! It must have taken a lot of effort to make this. I’m sure you’ve put a lot of thought into how to handle the “Force.” I’ll play it sometime soon and share my thoughts. Thank you.
Excellent work! I think I still have some Star Wars LOOT tables in an old file, I’ll try to dig it out and post here if anyone’s interested. They’re still on the ICRPG Facebook page too.
One thing that I’ll change if I ever run another ICRPG Star Wars game is using Force powers with all mental abilities. The old Star Wars d20 had three categories of powers: Alter (Into), Sense (Wis), and Control (Cha) and I always liked that.
