So I’ve sat on this idea for a while now and I think I’m finally ready to tackle it. Are you tired of one off scifi icrpg games? Do you want sci fi set in an apocalyptic universe made my mans own machination. Welcome to Immunis, a mainly single world sci fi setting. Here’s the gist of the idea.
Humans created sentient robots and decided to not let them have rights. On one of the planets they rebelled and succeeded, taking over the planet Immunis. By this time humans had taken over a few planets but not many, and have created Dyson spheres. They developed a biological weapon called the Mycelium. Mycelium was a weapon which would poison the ground, but it went wildly out of control. They would send shuttles with the weapon to enemy planets. But one of the robots, which would begin calling themselves Artificials, of the rebellion, misanthrope, hijacked the protocol and sent it to many planets and some into interstellar space. The only known habitable planet which was not affected was Immunis, the planet of the sentient ai. Humans began to die out but not to complete extinction. Thanks to the Illuari and the Tralk alien species who had also been affected by Mycelium, they were able to survive in large spaceships known as Bulwarks to the English language, but to the Illuari and Tralk, Reran. Eventually they began running out of supplies, and they ventured to Immunis seeking sanctuary. The robots agreed to a fraction of each species’ populace to enter Immunis and live safely, if the humans would fix their Dyson Sphere. The planet of Immunis has been experiencing black outs due to their Dyson Sphere malfunctioning. Now there is a weary peace between the Illuari, Tralk, Humans, and Artificials.
